Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Event Content Manager to work exclusively in the technology sector for this growing technology event portfolio.
They are looking for a highly ambitious, conference professional with a can-do attitude, a mind for fresh ideas, and an eye for the next big thing. Your role will involve extensive research with industry contacts to develop conference topics and write cutting-edge conference programmes; recruitment of and liaison with senior-level speakers; writing content-led marketing copy; and effective project management of events in the UK and abroad from their inception to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with sponsorship sales, editorial, marketing and logistics teams to ensure the commercial success of the conferences.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Market research
- Programme writing
- Copywriting and proofreading
- Speaker research, acquisition and management for multiple digital and live events
- Keeping to set production timelines and sticking to deadlines
- Effectively collaborating with marketing, sales and editorial teams

Managing conference department systems/IT
- such as putting event content and speaker biographies and photos online - Attending the events and on-site speaker liaison, in UK and abroad
- Managing the events schedules for our technology portfolio
- Assisting in putting together annual budgets and reviewing financial performance in forecasting meetings
The ideal candidate will have experience in conference production and will be looking to join the exciting world of technology.
Do you have..
- Proven experience in a Conference Production Role
- Interest in technology
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven research and analytical skills
- Very strong attention to detail and effective time management
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to build business relationships at all levels
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a pressurised environment with tight deadlines
- Strategic thinking in order to map out future opportunities for new markets
- Management experience is not essential but desirable
