- Job Title - Business Development ManagerSalary - up to £47,500 plus £30,000 commissionLocation - Central London x2 days per week in the officeZMedia is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to sell a leading subscription, consultative advisory projects, presentations and data.Key responsibilities
- Follow up on inbound leads - taking their initial interest and building on this through contact by phone, email, F2F or online meeting (for overseas prospects) - resulting in a serious sales opportunity and then on to close.
- To pro-actively target new prospects, initiating first contact and building a relationship to the point that they are highly familiar with what we are and what we could do for them - resulting in a serious sales opportunity.
- Achieve a personal target & work with other members of the global New Business and Client Services team to grow specific accounts where suitable.
- Using the CRM system to record, in a timely manner, accurate details of our relationships with clients and prospects.
- To work closely with other members of the team, and other company brands where needed to create a seamless sales experience for the prospect
- KPIs:
- No. of opportunities created
- No. of F2F meeting/demo/online meetings/agenda-driven calls
- Number of outgoing activities
- Conversion of opportunities into new business
- Hitting sales targets

Your experience
- Proven track record of building relationships in person, online and via phone
- Clear, concise communication skills
- Careful attention to detail as, with all sales roles, correct input of data into our CRM is critical
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage a varied workload according to formal and natural deadlines
- Drive and determination to hit targets
- Understanding of the marketing/advertising industry and/or function
- Experience of demonstrating a product/service online or in person
- Experience of building package solutions
- Experience of presenting to groups of individuals face to face
- Experience of working with CRM databases (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
