Job Title - Business Development Executive
Salary - up to £35,000 plus £15,000 commission
Location - Central London x3 days per week in the office
 
ZMedia is hiring for a hungry Business Development Executive to join a market leader in the provision of legal market information. As a quality-driven publisher, they offer authoritative and in-depth analysis and commentary across a broad portfolio of publications, spanning directories, magazines, online, journals, textbooks, events, forums and a variety of networking opportunities. They aim to be at the forefront of legal publishing, creating high-quality publications for the elite of the legal profession, and their clients.  

The company started publishes one of the most respected research guides in the market and they operate on a global platform both online and in print. 
 
This business provides a busy, vibrant, and sociable place to work. They offer the satisfaction of working in a challenging and dynamic environment, where initiative and dedication are valued and rewarded.   
 
Key responsibilities include: 
 
  • Proactively research and engage with new prospects to understand their needs and how they want to work with the UK Legal Community 
  • Qualify leads and progress them through the sales cycle
  • Engage with Partners and Marketing specialists in the worlds top ranked law firms
  • Manage and close deals to hit both individual and team targets 
  • Maintain and update CRM system
  • Accurately report and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
  • Attend and represent Legalease at a number of different events 
  • Work alongside the team to grow the portfolio 
  • Cross-sell into other Legalease products
 
Key Requirements: 
 
  • High level of communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – for both internal and external contacts
  • Reliable, diligent and conscientious – presenting a high level of professionalism to clients and colleagues
  • Competitive and ambitious in hitting targets 
  • Customer-focused and ability to problem-solve effectively
