Our client is looking for an Editor to join their leading b2b media business, to oversee the content creation and production for their flagship (and market leading for 20+ years’) title. Subject matter varies but can be focused on energy, renewables, macroeconomics (Russia impacting trade flow) etc.
They’re very much looking for a self-starter who can work under their own initiative. You’d be expected to work to deadlines and be organised. You’d take full editorial control with no micromanagement, suggesting new feature opportunities and work with sales closely. You’d be managing 1 person, as well as freelancers and dotted lines to internal teams. There are also other brand extensions such as podcasts, video interviews, moderating panels, awards etc. that you’d oversee.
The role pays up to £41,000 basic and with a further £20,000 in bonuses, which are highly achievable as they’re set against day to day KPI’s like meeting press deadlines. They are based in SW London and they’d want you do be based there for 3 days a week ideally.
