- Title – Commercial Marketing Manager
Salary – Up to £40,000 p. a.
Location – West Sussex
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will take ownership of the event attendee marketing and the strategy and implementation of all business development marketing initiatives. You'll be hands-on, working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Commercial Marketing Manager
- Lead and deliver B2B integrated marketing campaigns with the target of acquiring, nurturing, and retaining key sponsors.
- Manage the process, implementation, tracking, and measurement of marketing campaigns that supports sales targets.
- Develop a thorough understanding of sales targets, strategies, and priorities to help shape campaigns and messaging.
- Assist in the launch of new products, including relevant data development plans.
- Implement email campaigns and paid digital activity (social, search) for commercial marketing campaigns
- Work with the team to create compelling marketing content across a range of formats to support campaigns, including web, video, and print
- Keep the websites up to date and ensure the latest sales methods are being implemented
- Engage with the social media accounts to maximise value for sponsors and engage with prospects.
- Brief and oversee the work of external agencies
- Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including web breakdown, ROI and evaluation of KPIs.
- Assist in the selection and implementation of the new CRM system, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
- Collate and utilise data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns.
Key requirements:
- A 3 to 4 years of experience in a b2b commercial marketing role
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven working experience building lead pipeline / lead generation and nurturing
- Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media ads and/or display advertising campaigns
- Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Ideally experience using Hubspot or similar CRM
