The Role:
As they expand their portfolio of products, they are looking for bright, hardworking, and tenacious business development manager to help achieve their exciting ambitions for the magazine's reach and scope. They are interested in hearing from candidates with a proven track record of success in a competitive sales environment. Although experience in selling into the legal and/or financial sectors is preferable, it is not essential. An interest in business and the City would be beneficial.
Key Resonsibilities:
- Proactively research and engage with new prospects to understand their needs and how they want to work with the UK Legal Community
- Qualify leads and guide them through the sales cycle
- Engage with Partners and Marketing specialists in the world's top-ranked law firms
- Close deals to meet individual and team targets
- Maintain and update the CRM system
- Accurately report and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
- Represent the brand at various events
- Collaborate with the team to expand the portfolio
- Cross-sell other brand products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for both internal and external contacts
- Reliable, diligent, and professional when dealing with clients and colleagues
- Competitive and ambitious in achieving targets
