EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years conference production experience, including expertise in guiding and delivering a high-volume event.
- Commercial experience and know-how to deliver accurate weekly reporting to the Production Director on the event’s progress and deadlines.
- Confidence in contributing to marketing and sales strategies for the show.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with essential marketing partners, analysts, media, and influencers in the industry for scale and growth.
- Problem solving skills/conflict resolution to solve conference related challenges.
- Excellent research experience, organizational abilities, reporting skills, communication, and an eye for detail.
- Confidence in managing team members.
- A hunger and passion to deliver the best show in the world and a level of service that our clients, speakers and community have come to expect.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, and to occasionally work or travel with different time zones and set your own schedule.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Research and develop the content strategies and themes for given portfolio event, in participation with the Production Director
- Lead content development and delivery for given event
- Oversee overall event production budget for given event and ensure all expenditures are within agreed budget guidelines
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Editorial and Sponsorship teams to ensure effective event delivery
- Responsible for speaker selection and management for all speakers at given event, including acquired speakers and sponsor speakers.
- Collaborate with Production Director and key departments to ensure process delivery from first touch to marketing to onsite delivery and post-event data collection
- Participate in the conceptualization and delivery of auxiliary events
- Establish and maintain high-level relationships with event partners, stakeholders, key industry influencers.
- Lead copy development and marketing copy for given event
- Lead digital content speaker acquisition efforts associated with given event
- Oversee reporting and analytics for all events.
- Participate in the direction, negotiation, and delivery of partnerships across all products.
