- ZMedia is looking for a Sponsorship Manager to join a division in a large scale global events business. You will be selling sponsorship to senior leaders within the Energy industry.
The Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for achieving events and monthly sponsorship targets, generating new business sales, retaining existing accounts and managing the end-to-end sales process of large sponsorship deals. You will be responsible for putting together a strong sponsorship campaign plan and executing the agreed strategy. You will be working closely with our your manager, production and delegate teams to drive a successful campaign outcome.
Requirements
• 2+ years sales experience.
• A candidate with great ambition.
• Great collaboration skills.
• Strong ability to generate new business and retain key accounts.
• Clear goal orientation with a track record of working to and achieving performance-based targets
• Commercial acumen with a strong desire to understand and influence how world leading businesses market their services
• Demonstration of excellence in academic or personal life (e.g. senior positions on University groups/societies, sporting performance etc.)
• Demonstration of ability to deal with challenging situations (e.g. managing objections, working to deadlines etc.)
• Proactive interest in self-development to supplement significant training and support provided
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the confidence and articulation to engage C-Level stakeholders
• Degree education preferable but not essential (you make the case with your attributes and achievements
• Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• General office technology skills required (PC, Microsoft Outlook, CRM, LinkedIn)
