ZMedia is looking for an enthusiastic experience conference sales representative to join a leading global provider of conferences, events, and market research. They are dedicated to identifying and developing cutting-edge conference topics that are shaping the future of various industries.
Position Overview:
This role is perfect for someone who is excited about exploring new areas, learning about emerging trends, and connecting with industry leaders. They are looking for a salesperson who is passionate about our mission and eager to develop their sales skills while contributing to the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Identify emerging trends, industry challenges, and potential conference topics through extensive market research and analysis.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential sponsors and partners who align with our conference topics.
- Sales Pitch: Develop compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored to the needs and objectives of potential sponsors.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, understanding their goals, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Negotiation: Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts to maximize revenue while ensuring value for sponsors.
- Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from sponsors and attendees to continuously improve our conference offerings.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospects, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- A strong passion for learning and exploring new areas of knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Sales experience is a plus but not required; we will provide comprehensive sales training.
