Description

News Editor - B2B Print & Digital Media - up to £35000 - Central London, Hybrid

ZMedia is working on behalf of a central London Media business who are looking for a brilliant News Editor to join their editorial team. The organisation inspires and supports the retail and wholesale channels. They produce a weekly title, a fortnightly title, an annual publication and online content year-round.

The News Editor is responsible for shaping and leading the news agenda across multiple print and digital brands, developing contacts and delivering exclusive retail trade news that captures attention from the shop counter to the boardroom. You will write for 34,000 independent local shops that make up the lion’s share of the convenience store sector. You will manage weekly news meetings and work with editors to coordinate and assign news reporting. In addition, you will implement a robust and comprehensive yearly news schedule through planned specials and ‘off-diary’ analysis.

The role is based in central London (two days per week in the office, the remainder remote).
