Description

The successful candidate will work on 2-3 global exhibitions (paid for conferences within an exhibition), so they must be happy with international travel! Events in Las Vegas and Paris. 

It’s a remote role with shared office space available 2 days a week (Tues & Weds). So ideally someone London based who is available to come in. (Post relaxation of government restrictions)

Key accountabilities

  • Develop robust content strategy to drive continued growth of the portfolio of events
  • Identifying high priority topics, leading organisations and potential international speakers
  • Planning creative strategy to drive reach and engagement with customers across events
  • Securing keynote speakers at the highest level within their organisations
  • Ensure and conduct the highest-level quality of research, content, format and seniority of speakers through outstanding market knowledge, research and contacts in the industry
  • Approach potential speakers via in-bound and out-bound email, social activity, phone calls, meetings to pitch and convert to speaking opportunities
  • Develop leading-edge conference agendas that respond to the needs of our audience and sponsors
  • Ensure the best working practice to grow sponsorship and delegate revenues by facilitating the closest possible working relationship between content, marketing and sales teams
  • Write compelling copy and curating content for the company website, social channels and other editorial platforms. Championing and owning the tone of voice and best practice
  • To manage clients and work with sponsors to ensure the long terms profitability of the company while maintaining integrity of the content programme
  • Use tools such as Salesforce to identify and engage potential speakers and to track communications
  • To manage the speaker budget
  • Weekly reporting to the Head of Conference Production.
Experience
Degree educated Minimum 3 years Conference production experience Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Solutions finder- Quickly deals with issues and under-performance Can prioritise and work to deadlines Adaptable and open to change Has passion to succeed
