Job Title - Digital & Event Content Manager
x1 Year FTC
Location - REMOTE
Salary - £50,000

NB - This is a one year fixed term contract.

In 2022 and beyond, this leading B2B media firm's long-term ambition is to research and develop high-value digital content that aligns with their historically famous large scale events, in an integrated way across multiple channels that reaches the right audience for their clients.

Job purpose:
To create high-impact content solutions for clients that will underpin the growth of their marketing services and events businesses.

About the role:
The successful candidate will work alongside sales and their commercial clients, as well as marketing and internal digital and creative teams. Your role is to proactively create leading content across both live events and an exciting mix of digital channels.  Your content will position clients as thought leaders, incorporate the latest market research, support networking with new and existing customers (both virtual and in-person) and provide positive disruption aligned with the brand.

Key responsibilities:
  • Create and produce high-quality content campaigns and outputs that optimize client performance and succeed in generating renewals.
  • Shape and manage client content that tells their stories in a way that appeals to this brand's audience.
  • Proactively acquire exciting and engaging speakers for digital events.
  • Manage client relationships alongside customer success and sales teams.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and news to inform and input into engaging content.
  • Join pre-sales meetings with the sales team and their clients to lead on content ideation.
  • Join post-sale campaign kick-off meetings to develop the content ideation and creation.
  • Meet or exceed project timelines to support excellent service and optimize client retention.
  • Report weekly on project progress and results.

Qualifications

Desired skills and experience:
  • Digital and/or in-person events production.
  • Content creation and ideation experience in a B2B environment.
  • Audience and client focused, with at least 3 years’ experience in a commercial role.
  • Experience within a media, publishing and/or events environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the HR and HR Tech industries is preferable.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • The ability to think creatively about problems and provide innovative solutions with a clear understanding of best practice and what “good” looks like.
  • Experience of using content management systems (CMS) and using different online platforms to create and manage digital content.
  • Collaboration skills and team player mentality to enable close working across sales, client success and marketing teams.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Experience of managing projects across internal teams and external resource e.g. design
  • An eye for design, preferably with experience of briefing design teams and providing direction and feedback on graphics and video-based content.
